Rajgad Fort, also known as the “King of Forts,” is a historic hill fort located in the Sahyadri mountain range of Maharashtra, India. It is situated approximately 40 kilometers southwest of Pune city. Rajgad Fort holds great significance in Maratha history as it served as the capital of the Maratha Empire under the rule of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
