Essential Job Duties:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following:
# Safety for all production employees. Ensure all employees always have and wear correct PPE.
# Carry out required risk assessments for all production and repair processes with zero lost time goal.
# Ensure all products are manufactured as per quality standards.
# Achieve and maintain key production goals for Safety, Cost, Delivery and Quality.
# Development of operational excellence culture 5S lean manufacturing and Visual Management.
# Management and control of budget for direct labor, tooling manufacturers to ensure optimal tools are used in production and other associated production budgets.
# Development and implementation of training plans for all production employees.
# Ensure all equipment is maintained and kept in safe working order.
# Monitor and track machine utilization and implement plans to improve as needed.
# Sourcing and installation of production equipment as needed.
# Performs quality control testing to meet specifications from Engineer standard and quality standard.
# Meeting both Quality, Cost & Delivery expectations for both new parts and repaired parts.
# Flexible working schedules including weekends if needed
# Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
# Education:
# Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineer/Technical or relevant related field is preferred.
# Relevant equivalent experiences will be considered.
# Experience:
#5 years of proven ability in managing a production and repair facility
# Knowledge of production machinery both Manual and CNC
# Able to read, understand and interpret production drawings
# Hardware & Software:
# Microsoft Office Products
# SAP or ERP systems
English, in verbal and written form. Spanish a plus
