About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Sales Engineering to lead and expand their small but dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical presales process, RFP responses, and numerical analysis/model building. This role is pivotal in supporting the company's technology, which is designed to assist electric utilities with grid planning, demand flexibility, and customer engagement. The Head of Sales Engineering will be expected to have a strong management background, ideally with experience in growing a team, and a proven track record in leading and managing RFP responses for complex enterprise sales. Candidates for this leadership position should have a background in management, with a focus on growing and developing a team. Experience in leading RFP responses and managing teams in this area, particularly for complex enterprise sales processes, is essential. The role also requires a candidate with a solid foundation in building financial models and numerical analysis. While not mandatory, experience working with electric utilities in a SaaS environment is considered a valuable asset. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to align the technical aspects of the sales process with the company's business goals and customer needs.
