As a *Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)* at Alderwood, you’ll work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) to help residents regain independence, build strength, and improve quality of life. Your work makes a real difference—not just in rehabilitation, but in helping people feel more confident and connected every day.

*What You’ll Do*

* Carry out individualized treatment programs as outlined by the supervising OT.
* Assist residents with rehabilitative activities and therapeutic exercises.
* Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress to the OT and care team.
* Educate residents and families on home programs, adaptive equipment, and daily living skills.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support holistic resident care.
* Ensure punctuality, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards.

*What We’re Looking For*

* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
* Current Washington COTA license and CPR certification.
* Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care preferred (but not required).
* Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills.
